The Humans

HOLY FRACK THEY'RE DONE. I appreciate the paths tool in Gimp, but man, it takes long. My wrist hates me and will probably rebel soon.

These are the humans from my story "Perceptions." I figured a picture would be in order at some point since I did such a poor job describing them. Just because I have the picture in my head doesn't mean everyone else knows what I'm talking about. And now maybe that they're done, and finals are gonna wind down after this week, I can get back to the next part.

So in order from left to right, we have:

Tori Kelly
Age: 17 (youngest by a month)
Height: 5'4"
General Personality: Friendly and happy, as well as a little excitable. Likes to draw and paint, and wants to expand her abilities. When frustrated, she grunts about it then kicks herself back into gear to try tackling what she needs to - but these don't usually last long. Very observant. Has a great memory, especially for names.
Family: Two parents, one older sibling, one slightly younger sibling.
Extra: Her watch is an analog that has a cartoony picture of a dog on it. The blotches on her shirt are paint; she didn't want to throw it away and considered the paint an "enhancement" to the shirt.

Mariana Santos
Age: 17
Height: 5'1"
General Personality: Strong-willed and daring. Also snarky, especially when she's upset. She has a mild temper but it's mostly controlled. Mostly. Not easily intimidated, and will gladly stare down someone much bigger than her. She's also more protective of her friends than she realizes. And she makes promises, not threats.
Family: Two parents, Clay and Reina Santos.
Extra: Physically, she's the smallest of them in almost every way. My concept has always been that her appearance is a direct contrast to her personality.

Charlotte Hansen
Age: 17
Height: 5'6"
General Personality: A hard-working yet laid-back attitude. Adaptable, so she can run with her friend's crazier ideas with little complaint. Likes working with her hands, and since meeting Tori, she's started sculpting. Worldly due to moving a lot as a kid, as well as resourceful; she can do or find things that are a little out there.
Family: A mother and three brothers, two older, and one younger.
Extra: The ring she's wearing doesn't fit, but it's kind of a family heirloom (meaning she found it in her grandparent's shed after they lost it) so she wanted to keep it around. An inscription on the inside just says "Move."

That's the gist of who they are, but more will come as the story goes and as I work on other things with them. I don't want to set everything now, since God knows I've been surprised before. But generally, this is how they'll be seen. It's been so fun developing Mariana as just a human, which is way more different than I was expecting, and Tori and Charlotte are coming along more quickly than I would've guessed.

As far as the picture itself. I swear I don't suck that bad at hands xD; Part of it was the paths tool, since I'm not used to using it, and the fact that I was using a black outline over a black outline so I couldn't see very well. I still suck, just not as terribly as it seems ;b

EDIT: Added a bit of info to each of their bios. Anything else will likely come up in future stories or chapters.
